Since then, she has worked as a general practitioner at various group practices. She is an NVOI-certified implantologist specializing in oral implantology, dento-alveolar surgery, and prosthetic dentistry. She also focuses on restorative and aesthetic dental work. "The patient is at the center of everything I do. Their trust is deeply important to me." What does NVOI-certified mean? The NVOI (Dutch Society for Oral Implantology) is the professional association for implantologists in the Netherlands. NVOI membership requires demonstrated expertise in oral implantology, verified through education and practical experience. An NVOI-certified implantologist has met higher standards than a general dentist who places implants. The ITI (International Team for Implantology) is a global network of implantology specialists. ITI Fellowship is awarded to practitioners who contribute to research, education or clinical excellence in the field. Aisha Bajwa is also a lecturer at the postgraduate programme in Prosthetics and Oral Implantology at ACTA, the University of Amsterdam.
