## How does orthodontics work?

We guide you step by step through the entire process.

### Ortho consultation

We assess your teeth and discuss the best treatment option for your situation. The consultation is reimbursed for patients up to 18 years of age.

### Personal treatment plan

You receive a clear treatment plan with timeline and costs, tailored to your specific situation.

### Start of the trajectory

Start immediately without waiting. Your orthodontist guides you step by step through the entire trajectory.

## Braces or aligner: which suits you?

Both traditional braces and aligners (invisible braces) can move teeth and molars into the correct position. The best choice depends on your situation, preferences and lifestyle.

Fixed braces are attached to the teeth and cannot be removed. They are suitable for almost all cases, including more complex misalignments. Because they are always in place, treatment depends less on your own discipline.

An aligner consists of a series of clear, removable plastic trays. Aligners are barely visible and popular with adults. They require a higher level of personal commitment: the trays must be worn for at least 20 to 22 hours per day for good results. They are most suitable for mild to moderate cases.

During the orthodontic consultation, the orthodontist will assess which option best suits your situation.
