We guide you step by step through the entire process. 1 ### Consultation and assessment During the first consultation, our dentist examines your teeth, jawbone, and general oral health. You receive personalized advice and clear information about your options. 2 ### Implant placement The implant is placed in the jawbone under local anesthesia. The procedure is generally well-tolerated and comparable to having a tooth extracted. 3 ### Healing and bone growth In the months following placement, bone grows firmly around the implant (osseointegration), creating a stable foundation for the crown. 4 ### Abutment placement After complete healing, we place a connector (abutment) that will hold the new tooth. 5 ### Crown placement The crown is custom-made to perfectly match your natural teeth in color, shape, and function. ## From first consultation to final crown An implant treatment takes place in several phases. The total duration is typically four to nine months, depending on your situation. After the first consultation and implant placement, the bone needs three to six months to firmly integrate with the titanium (osseointegration). The cost of a dental implant depends on your situation: the number of implants needed, the condition of your jawbone, and any additional treatments such as bone grafting.
